Tools and games
These projects grew out of research tasks and game development. The research tools help with assignment testing and PDF review; the games explore browser-based simulation and equipment-building systems.
Research tools
-
Builder
Featured
A template, agent instructions and one check command for building small browser tools with a coding agent, with every rule in a tested Rust core.
-
Perturbation Workbench
Record questions, rubrics, and chatbot attempts during iterative assignment perturbation.
-
PDF Redactor
Find identifiers, review redaction boxes, and export a rebuilt PDF in your browser.
-
YouTube to MP3
Record the sound of a YouTube video in your browser and save it as an MP3, for pulling audio clips into presentations and other research materials.
-
MP4 to Transcript
Turn a recording into a transcript laid out like Zoom's, with each voice given an anonymous number, in your browser.
Classroom tools
These help a teacher run and read a lesson. Each one computes everything on the device that opens it, and each ships with sample content meant to show the tool rather than to be taught.
-
BT Lab
A classroom demo of how a behavior tree becomes key presses, one tick at a time, using the opponents from Vagrancy.
-
Packet Alley
Watch packets move on a network and solve TCP/IP challenges: address a packet, swap a hub for a switch, fix a route, open a connection.
-
Circus Math Lab
Three math-circle toys inside a circus game: plot a function by bouncing, integrate a flight with popcorn, and check a juggling pattern.
-
Practice Results
Students practise a question set and save a result file; the teacher opens the files together to see which topics to reteach.
-
Warm-ups and Exit Tickets
Build a warm-up or an exit ticket from a question bank, chosen by source document and Depth of Knowledge level.
-
Feedback Drafts
Pick a level for each criterion of your own rubric and get a feedback draft to edit and copy, built from the comments you wrote.
-
Research Discovery Lab
A follow-along lab for setting up research profiles, author records, crawling checks, and discovery tests.
-
Status Trends
Open a tracker or gradebook export and see items per year, quarter or month by status, the change between periods, and the risks, all inside the browser tab.
