Looking for a teaching professor position
I am looking for a teaching professor position in computer science. I would also consider a tenure-track position, though my citation record is early, and I expect a teaching-focused role to be the better fit for the next few years.
What I can teach
I have been instructor of record for introductory Java programming, discrete mathematics, and software development fundamentals, at a community college and at a research university. I have guest lectured on game AI to a combined undergraduate and graduate class.
What I would bring
Central Carolina Community College's Excellence in Teaching Award for STEM, received in 2026 and begun with a student nomination.
A set of course materials I have published in full, including the assignments, the AI literacy lecture and the exercises that go with it.
A research programme that runs inside the courses I teach, on how undergraduates use generative AI while learning.
