Spins
Game
Spins is a tavern table game of five wheels, after the Wheels minigame in Sea of Stars, and it runs in a browser on a computer or a phone. You and a computer opponent each spin five carved wheels up to three times a turn, locking the ones you want to keep. The opponent's wheels stay covered until the turn ends. Then the symbols showing fill your two Legends' energy bars and build your Barricade, three of a kind making one segment and each symbol after that one more, and every full Legend acts. A Knight strikes the Barricade first, a Wizard's second bolt flies over it, and a Bowman's arrow passes a Barricade lower than three. First to bring the other's health from ten to none wins.
Gilded panels give your Legends XP, and at six they evolve from Bronze to Silver to Gold. The tavern has three opponents, from easy to its champion, who plays on oak wheels with more doubles; beat him and they are yours. Your record is kept in the browser you played in.
There are three views of one game: 2D in flat colour and thick ink, 3D with carved figures on a candlelit table in WebGL 2, and Pixel in sprites with wheels that click round in steps. All three load the same engine file. It is a Builder project: a Rust core holds every rule, the 3D view's shapes are built by a second Rust crate held to the core's rules, and each page only draws what the core returns.
Playing it
Seat two Legends, then sit down with an opponent. Spin, click a wheel's lock or press 1 to 5 to keep it, and spin again, or press Enter to end the turn early; Space spins. The views are linked at the top of each page.
